Barbra, Live at Her Best 5 by .. KRA (East End of LI)
For me, of all the live shows that Barbra has done since this special evening, Once Voice stands out as the best. I say this in part because her 1996 Tour, her "farewell" shows of a few years ago, and her 2006 Tour all have focused on Barbra's more traditional Broadway songs and styling.

One Voice blends the best of both worlds, and here we are treated to live readings of some of Bab's Pop hits as well. Evergreen, The Way We Were, People, all focus on Barbra the Pop Diva. Further 2 songs are featured from her top selling album, Guilty, with Berry Gibb joining her on stage as well. Guilty and What Kind of Fool
translate from multi platinum album to a live setting without misssing a beat. She is even backed by a tight group of musicians, as oppposed to a full orchestra.

That said, her "Broadway" songs are allowed to shine even brighter, from the opener of Somewhere, to
Send In The Clowns, Somethings Coming, she delivers these gems in a powerfull yet relaxed manner.
Over The Rainbow is also featured here, and she pays tribute to one of her idols Judy Garland.

Encoring with a beautifully simple rendition of America The Beautifull, Barbra took the celebrity filled audience on a journey through her stellar career.

Fantastic performance :-) 5 by .. Little Miss Cutey (Melbourne, Australia)
I remember watching this when I was younger because my Dad loves Barbra and I'd watch this on VHS everynow and then. It's a great concert set at her home and it's on a nice, clear night with a slight breeze and great guests and she sounded fantastic.
To me, the best songs are Somewhere, Papa Can You Hear Me and People. She has a magnificent voice and even outdoors she pulls off every note. The big surprise of the night was an unannounced appearance of Barry Gibb who sang Guilty with her and my all time favourite song of theirs What Kind Of Fool. The crowd really lit up again when he came out.
This dated performance is probably best just for fans mainly. She is outstanding and this concert was really enjoyable. I love it and I'm so glad it's now out on DVD.

simply wonderful 5 by .. Yang, Cheng-feng (Taiwan)
What can I say about this item? Buy it.
I remember I first saw this concert on VHS back in high school. I never was a hardcore streisand fan. But this concert blows me away. At first I loved "Send in The Clown" "It's A New World", and "Happy Days". But after a few runs, I got to love all the songs. Her voice is impeccable and her concentration is beyond description. Anyone, her fan or not, will surely realize why she is a "legend" after watching this. None of her following concerts can compare to this one. Most importantly, you won't get to see a streisand who is too demanding, who has too strong a persona, or who is too self-conscious, which can make people tired sometimes. You get to see her as a singer with a great voice. That's all. And that's what makes her best.

WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL !!!!!!! 5 by .. W. Dennington (South Florida USA)
THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CONCERT. BEAUTIFUL SETTING, LIGHTING AND FANTASTIC SOUND! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. THERE IS VERY LITTLE "TALKING", AS OTHERS HAVE SAID. A FEW COMMENTS AND WELL SAID TOO! TREAT YOURSELF TO ONE OF HER BEST!
MY FAVORITE CONCERT IS BARBRA'S "TIMELESS" CONCERT. THAT ONE IS FOR SURE A "MUST HAVE"!!!!! TWO HOURS OF PURE PLEASURE AND TRULY AMAZING.

Fantastic Performance..... 5 by .. Kirk Deyer (Mt. Pleasant, Mi USA)
Barbra is at her best, and the songs are great. The performances with Barry Gibb are outstanding, and the Robin Williams performance is a nice bonus.
